word of mouth advertisement is the best way to generate new business. At least 3 friends had nothing but the best to say about Aardvark. My experience was great from the moment I walked in the shop, through service and then paying my bill. Cars can be complicated and you don’t alwsys see everything at a glance. They kept in contact with me the whole time and we where able to come up with the best service to fit my budget. I highly recommend.

Trash..paid over $3,000 to have them return my car how it was and even worse. Looked under hood had connections that werent even plugged back in after they "fixed" it. Please go elsewhere...that response from owner is so bogus.."I had replaced the radiotor prior to taking it there?" Please..I suggest you keep track of everything your company is doing because it was your company that replaced my radiator as well as all kinds of spark plugs and wires leading to an forth that didnt resolve issue and the only time the transmission started messing up was when I got my car back from your shop.

Dear David, I wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with us. We pride ourselves on being Amarillo’s trusted source for quality auto repair since 1980, so when I read your review, I was sad to hear that we did not meet this standard for you. No one on our team could remember the specific details of your repair as it was completed almost 4 years ago but here are the details I was able to retrieve from the invoices and our repair records: · 4/11/2014 – You said you had already replaced the water pump, radiator, and thermostat in the last month before bringing the car to Aardvark Automotive. Initial repairs & test done by Aardvark Automotive: A chemical block test was preformed and failed right away. Both cylinder heads removed for inspection. Remove and replace ( includes: remove carbon , check surfaces for warpage, adjust valves and ignition timing where necessary). Heads were taken to the machine shop and refurbished. Oil changed, filter, ck fluid levels & adjust tire pressure & ck battery water. Car was test drove heater was hot and car was not overheating which was the initial complaint, car drove fine. After car sat for a while a drop of coolant was noticed. Car was raised up for inspection & found very slight crack above freeze plug located on left rear of motor. The short block would have to be replaced to stop this leak. Due to the severe leaking from the head gaskets & radiator the technician was unable to see this leak from the short block. The Service Advisor made you aware of this before you left with your car. . 4/29/2014 – Vehicle was brought back due to overheating. The thermostat spring had popped out. This can be caused from extreme heat. Aardvark Automotive replaced the thermostat at no cost to you. At that time you also mentioned that you thought the transmission was going out because it was not shifting correctly causing the car to overheat. The Service Advisor explained to you that the transmission on this car must be repaired to prevent overheating. I double checked our records and there was no mention by customer or technician of anything being unplugged. If any issues had been found or reported to us at the time, we would have gladly taken care of them since our ultimate goal is always for our customers to leave Aardvark Automotive with a safe and reliable vehicle. Your valuable feedback will be carefully considered at our next team meeting where we monitor our processes and strive to maintain quality as our business continues to grow.
